I love cemeteries. I love walking through cemeteries. I love trying to connect family lines in cemeteries. So with that and my love of taking pictures in cemeteries I’ve decided to try my hand at a GraveYard Rabbitpage.

The first few headstones I’ll add will be from my own ancestors. My goal is to organize those photos and see which ancestor’s final resting places I have and which ones I need. From there I will add pictures of headstones from cemeteries in west-central Ohio.

My goal? I have taken this from the GY Rabbit Blog about page : The Association Of Graveyard Rabbits – an association dedicated to the academic promotion of the historical importance of cemeteries, grave markers, and the family history to be learned from a study of burial customs, burying grounds, and tombstones; and the social promotion of the study of cemeteries, the preservation of cemeteries, and the transcription of genealogical/historical information written in cemeteries.
